Spartacus: Blood and Sand (S01)
Spartacus: Blood and Sand season 1 follows a Thracian warrior (Spartacus) betrayed by Romans, sold into slavery, and forced to become a gladiator in Capua; he rises through the ranks, enduring brutality and temptation while plotting revenge and escape, ultimately leading a massive slave revolt against his masters after discovering his wife was murdered by them, culminating in him leading an army to fight Rome.
