Set against the cold, glittering backdrop of a modern department store, Pavane tells the story of three individuals living on the margins of society’s expectations. Mi-jeong (Go Ah-sung) has spent her life hiding from the harsh “stares” of a beauty-obsessed world, finding safety in the dim light of the store’s basement warehouse.
