Driven by desperation, Sattam recruits his equally incompetent friend to stage a “fakenapping.” The plan is simple: snatch his father, demand a ransom, and pay off the loan shark. But things go sideways the moment they grab the wrong man, only to realize his father actually wants to be kidnapped to avoid his overbearing wife. What follows is a 90-minute whirlwind of high-speed Riyadh chases, accidental bonding, and a family secret that makes the ransom money look like pocket change.

I'm a huge fan of Sattam's character, his determination to save his family is admirable, even if his methods are questionable.
Hassan Malik Mar 17, 2026
I saw some inaccuracies in the depiction of loan sharks. It felt like a caricature rather than an honest representation.
Maya Levi Mar 17, 2026

Diego Hernández Mar 17, 2026
I loved the cinematography in this film. The way the camera captured the tension was so effective.
Jean-Pierre Mbeki Mar 17, 2026
Has anyone else noticed how the film criticizes our societal pressures to succeed? Sattam’s story is a commentary on our flaws, not just his own.

Larissa Martins Mar 18, 2026
I think they were trying to comment on the absurdity of modern life, but it just came across as shallow.
Shirin Karimi Mar 18, 2026
Why did they insist on making their characters so unlikeable?
Musoke Kirabo Mar 18, 2026
It's clear they're poking fun at conventions, but in trying to subvert them, they end up failing.
Alejandro García Mar 18, 2026
If they'd only streamlined the story and focused on character development... maybe then we'd have had a good movie.
Daisy Lewis Mar 18, 2026
Fakes and fakes, that's all they are. Still, entertaining in a campy, 'so bad it's good' kind of way.
Nur Syafiqah Mar 18, 2026
If you're in the mood for a mindless, silly romp, then The Fakenapping might be for you.
Nguyen Van An Mar 18, 2026
Maybe they wanted to make a parody, but it ended up being just a lazy, unoriginal mess.
Andrei Ionescu Mar 18, 2026
The themes of desperation and power were really thought-provoking.
Nur Syafiqah Mar 18, 2026
The cast had some chemistry, but the plot was predictable and the 'twists' were completely obvious.
Rachid Mansouri Mar 18, 2026
it's weird how Sattam's friend is so willing to go along with this crazy plan
Miguel Torres Mar 18, 2026
Despite its failures, The Fakenapping is still somewhat enjoyable in a 'so bad it's good' kind of way.

This whole movie felt like a setup for a joke, like they're just waiting for you to laugh and then it's over.
