Supergirl Summary
Kara “reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion,” a young girl named Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley), who is seeking justice for her own father’s murder. Together, they embark on an “epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice,” hunting the ruthless space pirate Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts). Their path is crossed by the chaotic and lethal mercenary Lobo (Jason Momoa), adding a layer of unpredictable danger to their mission. The film leans into “Western and road movie” themes, portraying a visceral side of the DC Universe where the law of the gun—and the cape—is the only thing that matters in the lawless reaches of space.
